- You are likely not paying attention to the videos, or you're using the videos as your only source. It's good to learn through other websites, textbooks, and through teacher instruction to get the most out of it.(5 votes)

- Is geometry a difficult class? What do we learn in geometry?(3 votes)
- Hey there! I am currently a Junior in highschool (11th) grade, and I took geometry last year for my Sophomore year (10th) grade. I would say for me, it was extremely difficult, and every concept has a lot of steps that you needed to memorize in order to perform good on the Geometry B.E.S.T EOC. Before I went into 10th grade, lots of other students said "Oh Geometry is so easy, it's much better than Algebra 1!", or things like that. However, for me this wasn't the case. The class and content were extremely difficult for me to grasp and understand, and it may be difficult for you as well if you struggle with shapes, perimeter, area, trigonometry, etc, but don't worry if you do, you especially aren't alone!. For me, I always struggled with shapes and memorizing long formulas, however for Algebra 1, I did very well in the class, and understood mostly every topic. Algebra 1 was probably much easier because most of the questions are straight-forward, and the formulas were much smaller and easier for me to understand. Anyways, in Geometry, you learn points, lines, planes, angles and percentages (which I despised percentages of angles), parallel lines, a lot of trigonometry, circles and area, and different transformations. I hope this helps somewhat about what you will expect to see in Geometry! Wishing you the best of luck! Also remember to write down your formulas and make sure to practice them often, I didn't do this because they were very difficult and I gave up, but I did towards the end, which was worth it.(4 votes)
